Response to the UK Government’s Jet Zero Consultation and Transport Decarbonisation Plan

Published on: 15th July 2021 in the Comment category

Responding to the Government’s Transport Decarbonisation Plan and Jet Zero Consultation,  Mark Swan, Head of ACOG said:

“The Government’s continued support for airspace modernisation, as set out in its Plan, highlights the importance of its delivery for the UK.

“Upgrading our airspace will reduce congestion, improve the overall resilience of the airspace system and make travel easier and more efficient, while reducing carbon emissions.

“The successful delivery of airspace modernisation is an important step on our jet zero journey and we look forward to engaging further with Government as we continue to deliver this critical national infrastructure project for the UK.”
