ACOG’s response to UKACS consultation outcome

Published on: 26th March 2026 in the Comment category

In response to the outcome of consultations on the UK Airspace Design Service (UKADS) and UK Airspace Coordination Service (UKACS), Head of ACOG, Mark Swan, has issued the following statement.

Mark Swan, Head of ACOG, said:

“We welcome yesterday’s consultation response from the CAA that confirms the creation of the UK Airspace Design Service and the UK Airspace Coordination Service. Their response offers a clear route forward to modernise the UK’s airspace and deliver this vital national infrastructure project for the UK that will see quicker, quieter and cleaner flights.

We will work closely with the CAA and DfT until the transition takes place, and I look forward to continuing our vital work until then.”
